I stumbled across Skulduggery Pleasant (SP) on Friday night. What a find! Skulduggery Pleasant is the brilliant creation of Irish playwright Derek Landy. Mr. Landy has successfully completed two books of a planned nine book series. These unique novels are almost impossible to classify. They have elements of horror, comedy, mystery and sci-fi genres. Our protagonist has been described as a well-dressed living-dead wizard-detective. His charming sidekick and partner is twelve-year-old Stephanie Edgely.
